Do not get carried away by North, East or Northeast entrances and facings

The facing/entrance of a house is just one aspect to consider when evaluating its suitability according to Vastu Shastra. The internal layout plays an equally significant role in determining the overall harmony, well-being, and prosperity of the occupants.

While the entrance determine the direction from which energy enters the house, it's the internal layout that governs how this energy circulates within the living space. A harmonious internal layout creates an environment that nurtures good health, vitality, and peace of mind.

North/East/Northeast-facing houses of entrances in these directions are generally considered auspicious in Vastu BUT several factors need to be considered to ensure the overall harmony and positive energy flow within the house.

While the northeast direction is generally favorable, the overall layout of the apartment and the placement of kitchen, toilets & rooms play a significant role.

Houses with entrances facing North, East, or Northeast BUT kitchen situated in the North/Northeast direction MUST be avoided.

According to Vastu principles, the North is associated with wealth and Northeast direction is associated with positive energy flow and spiritual growth.

Placing the kitchen in these areas may disrupt this positive energy flow and lead to various challenges such as health issues, financial instability, and overall imbalance in the household.

If the entrances are good but there is toilet in North/Northeast, then that house should NOT be considered.

When a toilet is located in the northeast direction of a house, it can create significant disturbances in the energy dynamics, leading to various health problems for the occupants. The negative energy emanating from the toilet may affect the physical health of the residents, leading to ailments and discomfort.

A toilet in the northeast direction can also disrupt mental peace and emotional well-being, can create psychological stress, unrest among the occupants and lack of mental clarity.

When a toilet is located in the north direction of the house, it is believed to contribute to financial instability and wealth loss according to Vastu principles.

If the entrance is favourable but there is no room in Southwest which can be made as master bedroom, then it should not be chosen.

Vastu Shastra, the southwest direction holds significant importance as it is associated with stability, strength, and prosperity. When there is no master bedroom in this direction, it may indicate a lack of foundational support and stability for the occupants.

Absence of master bedroom in Southwest may affect the quality of relationships and intimacy among the residents.

Without a master bedroom in Southwest, there may be challenges in achieving financial success and stability.

If the entrances are auspicious and there is kitchen or toilet in Bhrmasthaan, then the house should be rejected outrightly

In Vastu Shastra, the Brahmasthan refers to the central portion of a building or house, which is considered sacred and holds significant importance in terms of energy flow and balance.

Placing the toilet or kitchen in the Brahmasthan may lead to serious health problems for the residents. For example, a kitchen in the Brahmasthan can affect the digestive health of the occupants, while a toilet in this area may cause critical stomach related health issues or can create problem in reproduction.

If the entrance are falling in good directions, but there are major cuts or extensions, then the house should be avoided.

In Vastu, the layout of a house is closely linked to the health and well-being of its occupants.

If the shape of the house is not regular and there are major missing or extended corners/directions then there would be disruptions in energy flow, negative influences on various aspects of life(depending on the direction of the cut/extension), and adverse effects on the health and well-being of the occupants.

For example, a major cut in the north can lead to financial troubles or a cut in Southeast can lead to legal problems.

In summary, while the facings of a house provide valuable information about its orientation and energy dynamics, it's the internal layout that truly determines its Vastu compliance and suitability for living. A well-planned internal layout ensures optimal energy flow, functionality, comfort, and well-being, making it essential to consider both external and internal aspects when evaluating a property according to Vastu principles.
